Since Downfall is the story of the positive disintegration of our antagonist, we’ve divided our sound composition into two sections to which we will create a smooth transition. Since it’s the passage and transformation of our antagonist from the concrete and real world to the realm of dreams and the unconscious. Our sound represents these worlds using two opposing yet harmonic elements going from an orchestral composition to a more electronic and digital sound with Horizon Zero Dawn’s “Meridian Shining” to Tangerine Dream’s “Dream Sequence”.

Timeline

This is the composition/architecture timeline, in which we look at the forms and shapes of the environment. We created a transition between two worlds marked by a disintegration of the environment. (please note: the disintegration part might not be part of the game, due to lack of production time).
